You can filter incidents by type, focusing on what’s most relevant to your surroundings, and access detailed information by clicking on any marker. This streamlined reporting and tracking system ensures you have up-to-date information at your fingertips, helping you make informed decisions.
Visualized Safety Trends
Our customizable heatmaps display areas with the highest number of incidents over different time periods, whether by day, week, or month, helping you spot long-term patterns and potential hotspots. Real-time heatmaps give you insight into incident trends at specific times of the day, so you can adjust your plans accordingly. To keep things clear and easy to read, closely reported incidents are clustered together, allowing you to see larger trends at a glance without overcrowding the map.
Personalized Navigation and Alerts
Streetsense makes navigation simple by displaying your real-time location on the map, helping you stay aware of your surroundings. When reporting incidents, a pop-up confirms your submission and may offer additional actions, like reporting to local authorities or displaying relevant promotions. Need help? The info button provides guidance on app usage and links to more details. When you click on incident markers, you'll see key details like the type of incident and when it was reported. Customize your safety alerts based on specific incident types and locations, and compare your route with common paths to ensure you're always making informed decisions.

Introduced key features like basic incident reporting, an interactive map, and early versions of crowdsourced data collection. This version allowed users to report incidents and view them on a shared map, laying the groundwork for real-time community-driven safety insights.

Introduced heatmaps, fading markers, filtering, and an improved UI. Heatmaps displayed crime trends over time, while fading markers highlighted areas of concern, dynamically updating as incidents occurred. Users could filter data to focus on specific types of incidents or time frames, enhancing the app's usability. The redesigned UI made reporting more intuitive. These additions, coupled with user feedback, aimed to refine the app’s functionality and improve the overall user experience.
